Cruising

These are a sample of some of the cruise companies that operate in The Caribbean, there are many others.

Cruises are generally 7 or 10 days and commence on either a Saturday or Sunday. There are also crusies of  3 , 5 , 10 and 14 days and these commence mid week.

Cruises are generally called either Eastern , Western or Southern Caribbean.

They generally commence in either San Juan in Puerto Rico - Miami , Fort Lauderdale , Tampa , Port Everglades in Florida - Galveston in Texas. 

Round the World cruises also regularily pass through The Caribbean and these sectors can be purchased separately rather than taking the entire cruise.    

Twice a year , around May and November there are re-positioning cruises and these pass through the Panama Canal on there way to or from The Caribbean to the west coast of the USA.
